The Foundation’s 2008 bronze program was of significant interest to the donors who attended this event with many of them choosing to participate in the special   drawing for a Lorenzo Ghiglieri bronze entitled “Need for Buffalo.”   Donors who attend Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Foundation’s “Friends of Montana” events and donate $1,000 or more during 2008 are eligible to participate in a the Foundation’s bronze program.   More than $8,000 in cash and pledges was raised during this event in support of the Foundation’s various programs and projects.

Wine for the evening was provided through a generous donation from Rich and Anita Funk, formerly of the Whitefish area and current owners of Saviah Cellars winery in Walla Walla, WA.

During the coming months, “Friends of Montana” events will be hosted by generous individuals throughout the state to help the Foundation raise funds for specific Foundation projects.  The events are small and personalized, each with its own special program featuring our Foundation’s important conservation work in Montana. These events provide opportunities for our donors to learn about our key programs or projects.  The events also provide opportunities for our donors to support the Foundation through philanthropic donations.

The Foundation is especially appreciative of Bill and Gretchen Wilson for their generous support of the Foundation and for hosting this very successful event.
