Endowment

The Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Foundation has a general Foundation Endowment fund and also holds a number of endowments for which the Foundation functions as a steward of the monies. These endowments are invested and managed professionally consistent to the Bylaws of the Foundation. Contributions may be made to the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks general Foundation Endowment fund.

In addition, individual Endowments may be established with the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Foundation and qualify for Montana’s unique Income Tax Credit for gifts to endowments. Funds management is a very high priority with our Board of Directors and our staff. Currently our endowments are managed through a cooperative agreement with D.A. Davidson and Company.

Persons interested in establishing an endowment with the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Foundation should contact Mr. George A. Bettas, the foundation’s executive director, at our Helena office: 1-406-444-6759 or gbettas@mt.gov.
