You may make gifts in support of the Montana’s wildlife and natural resources through a variety of programs with numerous options and flexibility. Our goal is to offer our donors a simple and highly personal approach to giving to programs and projects which fit their philanthropic goals. Contributions may be restricted to specific projects or may be unrestricted for use wherever the Foundation’s Board of Directors determines there is the greatest need. Gifts may also be made to our endowment fund and qualify for Montana’s endowment tax credit. Gifts of cash may be made through our website or by simply sending the funds directly to the Foundation’s office at P.O. Box 200701, Helena, Montana 59620-0701. The Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Foundation’s Board and staff place strong emphasis on funds management and work closely with D.A. Davidson Company for this purpose.
Following are a variety of giving opportunities for individuals and businesses who wish to contribute to the mission and vision of the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Foundation:
UNRESTRICTED GIFTS (Make a Donation) in any cash amount are a good way to contribute to the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Foundation’s vital mission of conservation in Montana.
Donor gifts are tracked by the foundation and categorized into giving levels (gift clubs) which provide individuals with opportunities to contribute at a variety of levels to the Mission and Vision of the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Foundation. These gifts are used to support the Foundation’s programs wherever the Board of Directors determines there is the greatest need. Contributions accumulate from one year to the next and recognition is given for each level achieved. For example, if a donor makes a $150 contribution in 2008 the donor would be included in the “Blackfoot Club.” If that same donor makes a $200 contribution in 2009 the donor would move up to the “Glacier Club.” When a donor’s gifts exceed $999 the donor is moved up to the Grizzlies Society and receives the benefits of that giving program.
Contributor $1 - $99
Blackfoot Club $100 - $249
Glacier Club $250 - $499
Brown Bear Club $500 - $999
Grizzlies Society $1,000 - >$25,000
